Question about Printers & Copiers
I am trying to set up a HP Deskjet F2180 on a MacBook. I have used the latest software download from the HP website but after I have installed it and gone to the set up part it tells me that the installer does not support the device.
I have also tried manually installing it through the printer setup section on system preferences but it cannot see a printer there. I am using a USB connection. I have uninstalled and installed the software a couple of times, and also asked for help from HP (who sent instructions on how to do a manual uninstall and then told me to just install it again) but I get the same result each time. The software seems to install fine, but it can't see the printer.

When downloading, select "Save" rather than "Run" to download the Driver Setup Files to your computer for you to install later. Downloading in this way means you can save/store the Drivers on a USB Flash Drive or burn them onto a CD in case you need them in future.
I hope this helps.
