You should try assigning the shutdown program to a certain button
so that it takes 0 taps.

Hello Rabfixit,

I had the same problem with mine and found a nice little program called ShutDown. It's freeware and does just what it says. I put it in it's own category so that it only takes 2 taps; choose the category then tap the program.

The screen has frozen and I can turn it on or off I tried the reset button but that doesnt work either

Hi,
There are two types of Reset are present
1)Soft Reset.
2)Hard Reset.

Just pressing the Reset button using compass or needle will just do soft reset,It is not more effective in this case. You have to go for Hard Reset.

Hard Reset:All the data's will be lost once you do this.but will solve your problem.
Hold Reset for 5-10 seconds.
Flip power switch quickly 3 times. If this doesn't work.
check the light next to the power switch. If it is flashing yellow, do the same steps. It might take up to two to four tries.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is
resolved or post a comment for further
assistance.

thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

How to hard reset my o2 xda II?

To perform a full reset
A full device reset clears memory, deletes all data, and restores the Pocket PC Phone to its default settings. Programs installed at the factory remain. All data that you have created and programs you have installed are erased.

Press and hold the Power button, and then use your stylus to press the “soft reset button” at the same time. Be sure you have backed up all your data on an SD card or on a desktop PC before performing a full reset. Hope this helps.

Attempt to start in SD Bootloader mode by Pressing Wireless + Power + Reset.

Does the Bootloader mode work? are you able to enter to it?

Hopefully you can do a warranty repair, I'm pretty sure the main board is damaged since a hard reset should have taken you back to the factory defaults.

Main Battery Power

It cannot switched the batteries. The backup one is a small internal battery just to keep the CMOS with data. That's it.

If you main battery is not charging or when unplugged won't power on, the is likely the main battery is defective, or the charging circuitry of it is failing.

Best regards,

Casio E-125

Blinking amber light means the battery is not fully recharged. Once it is charged, press the power button. If the the device still does not turn on take out the main battery and the backup battery. Put the main battery in first, then the backup battery and put the battery switch in the lock position. Press the power button and you should see initializing memory..., then starting..., then it will ask you to set up the device.
