Just look for the link towards the right side of the page that looks like this.
The nex pop up will ask you to type in some numbers, this is just so they know it is a human downloading and not a automated computer that is trying to crash their server.

Just recently checked this post, but the answer for your question would be, to turn off predictive text input you just need to press the pound (#) key or number key twice quickly when you're writing a text message.
