The MP drivers are necessary to print documents and scan images.These drivers must be installed to use the print and scan features.The MP Navigator EX software for windows allows you to scan,save and print photosand documents.You can also edit images or attach images to e-mail using this application software.To download the softwares if you don't have the cd,
1)Go to software.canon-europe.com
2)Under Multifunctionals Select PIXMA MP 190
3)Select your operating system.
4)select your language.
5)Download the drivers and install it

Remove the black cartridge and soak it with an alcohol free window cleaner soaked paper towel let it sit on the towel for a good thirty minutes then wipe clean and put back in printer run nozzle check if necessary.
Those values can only be changed after printing the alignment page either via the computer or by the keypad on the machine. On the machine they are set with the up/down arrows, but only after printing the alignment page.
Use the cleaning cycle first.If it completes do a nozzle check and then to align follow below.
You need to hook it up to computer to do a manual head align through the printer properties maintenance section.
Are you using Windows?
If so clean out your temporary files and defrag the drive.
Printers in Windows spool the job to a temporary file and then retrieves it.If the temp folder is full or the drive is fragmented this will cause your issue.
