I cannot load and install the Samsung PC Studio on my Windows Vista PC. Is there a "patch" I can download to fix this problem?

Since you have not mention your PC OS, try updating your system files via Microsoft Update & reinstall Kries.

General Operating System Information

download and install Secunia Personal Security Inspector on your pc . its completely safe and very secure.
scan your pc with it after installing .
wait for the scan to finish , and report its results .
if any of the security patches required for all the software installed in your pc is missing , it will report it and then offer you to download them and install it on to your pc .

You need to reinstall Samsung PC Studio because it is not properly installed. Goto ADD/Remove Programs and remove Samsung PC Studio.

ya for that you require an patch to your windows when you get that just say search in net option and download the patch then it would work

try going onto the samsung website and follow the links you should be able to download the software, if not go to a phone shop and they might be able to help you further...

what is the error message that you're getting.. usually windows vista will not downgrade your operating system to windows xp. You may need to remove vista before you can load xp.
make sure to save a back up of all of your important files before you do that.

• Shut down the computer
• When you turn it back on, tap the F8 key every couple seconds until a menu pops up. (If the XP splash screen appears, the F8 keys was pressed too late so restart the computer and try this step again)
• On the menu, choose Safe Mode, and then press the Enter key
• Launch Studio

I emailed www.samsungmobile.com with problem and through their web site downloaded samsung pc studio 3.2 which when installed updates automatically and installs the patch.
