ILO DVDR05 makes high pitched squeal during recording

Usually a problem like this has to do with d.c. power sypply problems. Because "record" uses a different supply voltage and maybe "subcirckit" [not the same dc voltage that you use for playback, etc] If you know HOW to look inside and if you know how to take voltage\current readings...check ALL capitors, the diodes(misspelled?)Replace any that are "swolened", they are bad Other then that, take it to tech who if he is a crock he will overcharge, and if he is honest will repair for a fair price..... " Rotosa Ruck " [lots of luck]

High Pitched Sound

I am to believe that your static sensor on the playing head is touching the the head and it sould not. just bend it up "slightly" and the noise should disappear
