I have a Denon avr689 and no sound comes out of it??? It worked fine and now it doesn't? My wife hit some buttons on the receiver and hasn't worked again.

Using FM as the test source and turning the volume to something medium, I'd look carefully at the front panel for some indication that Ext In, Muting or a Tape is selected by mistake.

Next, crack the manual and treat it like a new installation. See if the test tones work and go from there.

Sterio works great cant set time

Unit has to be off to set the time, power on. There is a button that lets you toggle between time and station frequency. When the radio is off but under power, hold this button down till the display flashes and use the channel button up or down to set the time, hit the first button again to set the minutes.
