Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W50 Digital Camera
My Sony 6.0 cybershot recently took a light fall to the ground. When you turn it on, it says Access for a while before the screen turns on and then flashes E:61:00 and will not focus images nor zoom in or out. It takes pictures, but not focussed. Is there a master reset button or anything i should try before taking this in?
Hey peter grifin,
Sony actually calls resetting the camera initializing, and to initialize the camera first take the battery out for about one minute and then reinsert the batteries. Next you want to go to the setup menu and find initialize and press the up arrow to OK and press enter and a message should appear saying "initialize all settings ready?" now press the up arrow back to OK and press enter. This process should reset your camera back to factory settings. If this doesn't work you could bring the camera in to a Geek Squad® precinct at a Best Buy™ store, and they should be able to send it out for service.
