Go to "Control Panel" go to "VAIO Central" go to "Keyboard and Mouse" go to "Built-in Pointing Device" double click "Built-in Pointing Device" uncheck box "enable/disable touch pad" VOILA!

During startup press F2 and you will enter the bios setup utility. There you can change the optio of touc pad to off.
Be carefull while changing anything in the bios setup utility.
