On my new Jensen NVX430BT GPS I cannot figure out how to activate the text to speech ?

I want to buy this unit but only if the TTS works correctly-when you put the female with the TTS by the name does that get it to work properly and give out street names? Please someone answer because it took me forever to find a unit that I liked and this is a necessity and the adhesive with unit which is not mentioned bu does come with unit doesn't it. thanks.

I have the same issue. It was advertised as having text-to-speech, but I can't figure it out. There is no mention of it in the manual. Is there a firmware or software update for this?

I wasn't able to find a female voice option that showed tts. Am I missing something?
