the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)

Java Problem

  • Download
I will assume that you have games already downloaded to your PC if not then download from here http://www.4shared.com/file/105643441/b4a82c89/Samsung_M8800_Pixon_Touchscreen_java_games__240x400_.html?s=1

  • Extract
Extract them into the Computer Folder extract till you see Game folders and save it in another Folder (IF you don't want to create a mess). These games are for Samsung Pixon but works on Samsung Star.

  • Load to Your Mobile
Now you can either connect it through "Mass Storage" or through the "Samsung PC suite" options (Menu-->Settings-->Phone Settings-->PC Connections-->Mass Storage and Save).
Connect your cable and wait for the loading...go to my computer or the connection will prompt you to open with a category...Select Folder...create a folder with the name "Games" or whatever you want.Copy the games from the computer folder,by copying and pasting or by dragging and dropping,to the mobile folder.
Once the copying is done Go to the panel (Bottom-right) where you have time and date and from there right click on the mass storage Icon and click "safely remove hardware"-->Select the mobile device and select stop--remove the cable.

  • Games Installation
Now comes the installation part Go to your mobile folder where you have Loaded the Games Floder (Menu-->My Files).
You'll see the folders with names of the games assigned.Open one of them and you'll see two files JAR and JAD select one and Click "Yes" on install prompt.Screen will flash "Content not signed" select "Cont." Again select Install Screen will flash Installation Complete "Play" or "Back" select Back

  • Play the game
Go to the Menu-->Applications-->Games and More-->You will see the icon of the game you have installed -->click it and then you can play the game...Enjoy!

n
For the pc studio if you have Driver CD don't install as it will not work.Download PC studio from here http://www.samsungmobile.co.uk/support/softwaremanuals/software.do?phone_model=GT-S5230&sw_type=SW
Install the Software
then in the phone menu--settings--phone settings--PC Connections--select Samsung PC Studio and Save.
Connect the Phone.It will connect.

Web applications are not connecting on my moble phone.

The problem is java.
it lauches ALL the apps from your phone and java 2.0 has a BIG
bug which does not allow it to do these things.
1.The java app cannot be upgraded.
2.When ever the phone is upgraded or flashed, java does not delete from the phone.*
*= Your phone needs Java to be upgraded anyways...

I have samsung sgh-l700 phone and i don't know how to install games, apps and other from pc in external mermory.

Here's the complete procedure to install a game (jar, jad) file via PC.

In the phone Menu select
'Settings'

Then select
'Phone settings'

Then
'USB settings'

And choose
'Ask on connection'

Plug the Phone in to the PC with the USB cable

On the phone selct
'Media player'

On the PC wait until it detects the phone and select
'Open the device to view files'

Open the folder
'Phone'

You should see the folders: images, Other files, Sounds, Videos

Create a new folder and name it
'Games'

Put any game you want to install in that 'Games' folder

Two things need to made sure of when copying over the games. Firstly make sure you have the *.jar and *.jad files for each game, if you don't have the *.jad file, you can download a jad creator pretty easily, just type it in Google. Secondly each game has to be in it's own folder, if you just dump all the *.jar and *.jad files directly into the 'Games' folder only the first game installed will work (Poorly too).

Unplug the phone

Now on the phone dial the code:

*#6984125*#

Select 'Internals' (Number 4)
It will ask for a master key it is:

*#9072641*#

Select 'Storage settings' (Number 7)

Update Java DB (Number 2)

Turn off your phone for a minute then turn it on and you'll be able to play your Java Games and Applications.

I HAVED PROBLEM INSTALLING JAVA APPLICATIONS & GAMES TO MY PHONE VIA GPRS

If you want to download a game than you need to find a wap site (Search using google wap) and click on the link to the game which should be gamename.jar or gamename.sis, then it should ask if you want to download and install and where

If you are talking about the games that need to download the add sponsors then you have no choice but allow them to download the ads first and then you can continue the java application. There is no way to remove those ads unless you are a programmer yourself. So download the internet connection setting for your phone and make it default for all the applications. They take a very little download for ads and the rest of the time you can play and enjoy your java applications.

If you select downloads, your phone will try to connect to the Wap (Internet) service. If you haven't set it up with the settings to go online it wont work.

Settings are sent to you through a text message by your service provider.
