the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Need replacement part for JVC receiver built in 1996 (part #VWF1219-16TTB) FFC

My search shows "no longer available" and you'll probably not like my alternative fix. Buy a spool of small diameter (24 AWG) solid core wire (wire wrap wire is great for these repairs) and hand solder the connections from point A to point B. I've done these repairs for both broken ribbon cables and cracked PC boards but I was younger back then, could see better and was a bit more steady with an iron.

My jvc kd-r418 is protect

that happened to me too once, in my case it turns that one of my speaker wires came loose from back of speaker and was touching the metal in my truck. after correcting the wires it still said protect, i then found the reset button located under faceplate and held it down for a few seconds and my receiver was back in business.

JVC KD-G200 cd player

I would suggest checking the accessory (red wire), the yellow is a constant feed from the battery, which will allow the clock to be displayed no matter what. The accessory wire is what is used to turn on the cd player. You may need to restrip the red wire and check the lead going to the red wire with a test light to make sure it is getting a voltage light.

Whenever I turn receiver on, it turns off almost immediately

The amplifier blew out (probably shorted and damaged when wire was loose, and gave out under load). It won't be cheap to repair....
