I believe that you get the error message not when you type anything in Y= editor, but after you hit the {GRAPH] button. Anyway this is due to the fact that one of your statistical plots are active.
If you got the message while trying to draw a graph (that is your situation)
If
message popped up while doing something else that involves lists or
matrices, the length of lists may be different, or the dimensions of
matrices may not be compatible.
To Clear the lists:
To reset the Ram press [2nd][ ] (MEM) [7:Reset][1:All Ram][2:Reset]. Press [CLEAR] to erase the Ram Cleared message.
When the RAM is cleared, the calculator is reset. The calculator resets itself after a battery change.
