Question about IBM ThinkPad 760 EL Notebook
I have an IBM 760L Thinkpad laptop computer (Type 9547-UO1-S1N23-H9130). I have been using an Olicom Go Card Combo Eth/Modem 336 (OC-2232) for dial up service through AOL. I just had Cablevision Optimum broadband installed but cannot hookup my computer to the Cablevision modem. I am told that I need an Ethernet Adapter PCMCIA Card for my computer (that only has Windows 95 now). The adapter card that Cablevision tried would not fit into my computer slot. Do you know what type of adapter card will fit and where I can buy it (e.g. make, number, etc.)?? I know little about computers but am very anxious to re-hook up my computer to the internet.
here you go... it's an 1 slot PCMCIA. I'm sure there's cheaper one out there but with a quick search , this one came up.
good luck. This is hardline ethernet connector (not wireless).
ps. might want to upgrade your OS :)
