I have a LSC27910ST side by side refrigerator that sprays out water from a tubing line on the back of the refrigerator when you are using the water dispenser and also the condenser fan isn't coming on

This tubing supplies the icemaker and cold water spout in the refrigerator. If you follow it back to its source (probably below the floor) you will find a shutoff valve. This valve usually is a screw-in with wings so that you can turn off with your fingers. Turn it clockwise until it stops. The water from behind the refigerator should have stopped. Now you need to determine if the nut clinching the tube to the fitting on the refrigerator is tight. This should be visible near the floor. If it moves easily, like with your fingers, this is the source of the leak and needs to be tightened with a small adjustable wrench or pliers. Then turn the water valve back on and verify it solved the leak. If the leak comes from the tubing itself, you will have to shorten the tubing to the leak or buy a hose to hose fitting if you have to keep the full length. The tubing will cut with a sharp knife, but make sure the valve is off before you try that.

Water buildup inside refrigerator. Source back or fridge from freezer section. It appears it is defrosting all the time.

Remove the food and the ice maker from the freezer ( if equiped ) . Remove the rear freezer panel . Using a hair dryer , start in the middle , below the coils , defrosting , until you see the drain hole . Use hot water to help defrost the hole . Once water starts going thru the hole , use a small hose inserted into the hole , and blow thru , to remove any unseen debris in the drain line . Use an ALUMINUM or COPPER solid wire , 14-16 guage , with the insulation completely off , and insert one end into the drain hole as far as possible without any force . Wrap the other end about 1 1/2 to 2 turns , around the black rod (defrost heater) , above the hole . When refrig goes into defrost , the heat will transfer from the heater , to the wire , keeping the hole from freezing up again .

We are getting a small pool of water in the refrigerator, beneath the crispers. It pools toward the front, and we can't tell where it's coming from. Any suggestions?

The water is probably running down the back wall , due to a defrost drain clog . To stop this leak , you will need to remove the food and the ice maker from the freezer ( if equipped ) . Then re-assemble the freezer section .

Water does not come out of the door spigot

You can try using a hair dryer to unfreeze the line - or do what I do - I have to empty the freezer, turn off that side and leave it for about two hours or so, until the line has freed up. Once the water starts running, I can turn the freezer back on, load it up and all works well for a while!!

Water spout replacement

this is a surprisingly easy repair that you can do in about 30 minutes.
  • first remove dispenser cover: there are 2 slots on the very bottom of the cover insert flat tip screwdriver and carefully pry it off. then you should be able to disconnect a wiring harness and lay the cover to the side.
  • next move switch console out of your way: you will either have 2 screws or 2 thumb latches on either side. you may need someone to hold this out of your way for the following steps.
  • we need to disconnect the incoming water line down at the bottom hinge: remove kickplate and find the water line you should find a connector. while pushing the tube into the connect push down on the collar then pull the tube out of the connector.( you will most likely get a little bit of water when the tube pulls loose.
  • back at the dispenser: find where the tube comes out and remove any retaining screws, then gently pull the entire tube up and out of the door.
  • now do everything in reverse to finish up: the tube will push abck thru. when you get back to the hinge the tube may hange up I use a very small screw driver to line the tube up to come back thru the hinge.
  • whne you reconnect the tube at the grille make sure that the tubing seats all the way to prevent any leakage
Be surre and be safe by unpluggin the unit before you perf any type of repair water and electricity dont mix. good luck Peyton
