If the original program was made for Standard display (4:3 old TV format) and you set the aspect ratio of your TV to fill in the 16:9 screen, that is what you will get. If you read your manual, it will explain the effect of the screen aspect ratio setting and what you will see on your screen.

You will probably have to drill and tap the hole. Before you do this ... consider a helicoil repair. http://www.noblefix.com/helicoil.htm

Your mechanic should be familiar with this or similar product.

Greetings, I get a perfectly good picture for about 20 minutes & then it clicks & turns off. I hit the power again & it will go on for less time and shorter and shorter time on until it stays...

Sounds like a component or 2 overheating and probably in the frame stage of the set. You would need the service manual to fix it and someone who is capable. The manual should be obtainable from sites such as www.mauritron.com The make and model would be needed to obtain it.

Having trouble with the full picture

Hello,

If your television is having an image with funny looks, either the images are looking shorter or fatter or the images are in halves, then you need to understand that the lamp is faulty and need to be replaced.

To replace the lamp, you need to unplug the television for a while, then you unscrew the screws that are behind the television to remove the back cover of the television, then you unscrew the metallic sheet that covers the panels, then you lift them up also you lift the panel. you will have direct access to the lamp, then assess it to see if it is looking bad, so you replace the lamp and the television will be in good condition once again.

Take care and good luck

Where is the oil filter located? Where does the oil drain from?

The oil filter is Almost always on the passenger side lower half of the engine. If it is external ( on the outside of the engine) it should be the size of a pop can only a little shorter and a little fatter. The oil drain plug is located at the bottom of your oil pan. It's the pan on the bottom of the engine.

Streaks make letters fatter every 2 inches apart across screen

this is called phase it can be set auto by the button or you can disconnect the power and next day reconnect and leave it in default which can be better than letting the monitor try to set the phase.
