Question about Sport & Outdoor - Others
Gas that sits that long will clog up jets in the carburators. The best thing to do now is completely remove all of the gas in the tank and fuel lines and remove the carbs and get them thoroughly cleaned. This means taking out all removable jets, floats, and needles and making sure all passageways are clear. Make sure the carb clean is done carefully, so you don't have to repeat it.
Fuel stabilizer will help in the future, but it's usually good for one year.
