Question about Washing Machines
Check the leveling of the machine and make sure it is not leaning forward or backward. Take the spftener compartment cap and make sure the tubes are clean and fit together properly.
You can perform a bench test for the dispenser drawer to check where the issue is. Pull the dispenser drawer out and place it on a level surface. Slowly pour water into the softener compartment until it is full. Water should start dispensing through the tubes by siphoning action when the water level reaches the level of the tube in the cavity.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello friend, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
It is a normal operation to receive water inside the dispenser after draining. This is part of the siphoning action of the drawer. You would just remove the drawer and empty the water out, then reattach the dispenser drawer. I hope this is helpful. -Matt
