Simpson espirit 750 won't turn on

Hi, This may sound obvious, but have you checked the fuse? if the machine is completly dead this may be the problem or the ON/OFF switch is faulty. If there is life in the machine the problem could be the door switch. If the fuse has blown then there could be a fault such as heater element blown, is the most common to blow a fuse.

Loaded machine and it has stopped half way(?) through the wash cycle. ~ Found fuse blown in plug. New fuse, washer started turned maybe once amde a few unusual clicks and stopped - fuse has blown...

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
From your description it could be the main motor but with such a fault it is extremely difficult for anybody on this forum to remotely guess what is wrong with your washer.
It could also be internal wiring/plugs sockets, control panel switches, control PCB, water inlet control valves, door solenoid as suspects. I fear that your only real option is a service call as the engineer will have the right equipment to safely diagnose what is wrong.
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Washer won't turn on, do I need a new door switch?

It doesn't work at all If your washer doesn't seem to work at all, check these: No power Lid switch No power Check to see whether power is getting to the washing machine. Is it plugged in? Has a fuse blown or is a circuit breaker tripped? Lid switch If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it. Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse.

We need Bearing

Sadly, some of these machines were manufactured with a completely sealed drum making bearing replacement impossible. If the shop is selling you a complete drum, I would say you have such a machine otherwise they would sell you a bearing kit. Lots getting caught with this one :(

Washing machine wont spin

Your machine may not be receiving adequate voltage to start. Make sure your machine is plugged in. Also, check the circuit breaker panel to make sure all the circuit breakers are in the correct positions. Or check to make sure no fuses in the fuse panel are blown. Try plugging something else into the same outlet. If it won't work either, then there is likely something wrong with the power outlet. Any of these could be the reason power is not getting to your machine. Also, refrain from using an extension cord to plug your machine in.

Hotpoint WD51 fuse issue

is it the motor that got hot?, if so then check the motor carbons for wear, as these heat up when worn, also if the carbons are fine check the pump and filters for blockages, this makes the motor spin while water is still in the machine causing the motor to overheat, and subsequently tripping and blowing the fuses etc hope i have helped a little
