Question about Clarion VRX755VD Car DVD Player
The grass green wire works off a negative 12v feed, not an earth. which is why if you branch off a earth wire after a load (handbreak light) it will work fine. it needs to be something that can be turned off then back on while the head deck is working so it can make a 0 volt reference before running of the -12v. (so branching from the of the neutral of the head deck wont work). Cant think off hand what would substitute but i hope this helps a little.

I have the same model its the green wire next to the earth wire bottom row make sure u earth it otherwise the unit can be frustrating at times!!!!
