You have ended up in the Vacuum cleaner section, but if you look in your User Manual on page 71 you will be able to read about how this is achieved...feeddog switch, then rotate hanwheel one full revolution to re-engage.

take a look at this video ..it is not the same model ..but the main idea is the same ..(and visual explaining is best ..
only this model has the frst part of the thread going under a lid ..but the threading is made the same way ..the only difference is that the spool will have a vertical position ..and will go first behind the top left ..
here I found a manual for it ..but it is not free..(it seams there are no free manuals available ...)
http://www.sewingmachinesplus.com/manual-j-360-361-ensp.php
it costs $10 and it is a downloadable file ..

I wasn't able to locate an actual manual for your Janome 9000 Memory Craft sewing machine. Believe me, I searched! I was able to find assistance to issues from the Janome website. Goto http://content.janome.com/index.cfm/FAQ then scroll down to MC9000 then click on category in the FAQ section or just click on search. Their database is huge. There may be some assistance in those pages. You can also try http://content.janome.com/index.cfm/Machines/Retired/MC9000 I know its not a manual, its a start. I wish you all the best.

I have lost my manual to my Sewing Machine Janome Excel Decor 5018 and was wondering if I can down load one :)

A copy of the manual is available for sale here: http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/instruction-manual-janome-decor-excel-5018.aspx . Other sewing machine parts dealers may also have the manual.

The only Decor model for which Janome has an online copy of the manual is the DC3018. I believe this is a very similar sewing machine with slightly different features. The manual for the DC3018 is here: http://content.janome.com/documents/File/ManualFile/DC3018.pdf .

I hope this helps.

I just got a new machine (new to me anyway) new home hf106 model. i need to thread the bobbin on the new thead i am using and am not sure where to put the empty bobbin and how to thread it. help!

Janome New Home?

Unfortunately, Janome doesn't put the manuals for older machines on their website. Your best bet is to contact your local Janome sewing machine dealer and ask for a "copy" of the manual from them. A photo copy should be sufficient for your purposes. Otherwise I understand you'll have to buy a manual and wait to have it shipped.

But carefully look at your New Home. On the top toward the right there should be a fitting that looks like the bottom half of a spool. and next to it is a thing that almost looks like a mushroom.

Put the spool of thread on the spool holder, run the tread to and around the tension discs on top then thread the end through the hole in your empty bobbin. Place the bobbin on the thing that looks like a half a spool and push the whole thing to the right toward the "mushroom."

Press start, or hit the foot feed. Wind slowly for best results.

When full, stop and move the bobbin winder back to the Left (sewing mode)

Now... hold your bobbin between your right thumb and fore finger... pull the thread a few inches... your thread should be coming off the LEFT side of the spool, if not flip it over and try again. Open the bobbin area, drop it in with the thread coming off the left to the bobbin.

hold bobbin still with right index finger and with left hand slip the tread between the bobbin race's tension spring then if your model has a channel for the tread... follow it... otherwise pull straight back, replace the bobbin cover on the machine.....

Thread top thread then use the hand wheel to take up the bobbin thread.

(Of course this all assumes your New Home is similar to my janome or brother.) Have fun!

Be sure to get some good needles.... ;)

I need instructions to use a Janome 350 embroidery machine

Is it a Memory Craft 350E model by Janome?
The manual is available from their website.
http://www.janome.com/documents/File/ManualFile/MC350E.pdf
It's a partial manual so it might not have all the info you need.
Hope this helps!

Manual for Janome Sewing Machine model 106

Try looking on the Janome site.
They don't have one for the 106 but they do have manuals available for similar machines.
http://www.janome.com/index.cfm/Machines
To find a manual, click on the underlined machine name or model number for the machine that looks most like your 106 and then click on specifications. Then just click on Download Manual.
Most machines by the same brand have similar parts and thread in the same way.
Hope this helps!
