Need windows 7 coprocessor driver for aspire R3600

We had the same exact problem but with a Compaq Pesario V6000 series notebook. Ours had to do with the NVidia System Management Controller but was listed in the device manager as a coprocessor. Kind of a bland description.
Solution: Downloaded and installed NVidia System Management Controller from here. Hope this helps.

Now there's an Update from Windows Update, it's listed in the optional Updates

The ‘Base System Device’ relates to the cardbus of the laptop. To resolve this issue download and install the driver from HP website.
