Question about Polaroid Cameras

1 Answer

Polaroid Model a815 just bought yesterday: I took pictures with it and turned it off to get another item to photograph. When I turned it back on I got "Card Error" then a screen to Format Card: Cancel/Execute. I could not move to hit the cancel. It would only take Execute. It sat there "Busy" until it timed out. When I turned it back on I was back to the Card Error. I removed the Card and tried a different one. None of the buttons would work, but I still had the Format Screen showing. According to the CD Users Guide the Card is OPTIONAL, so I removed the Card. When I turned it on to use it, I got the Message "Insert SD Card!". Any suggestions on what I can do with this piece of non-working stuff?

As you only bought it yesterday, take it back to the vendor and request a demonstration to your satisfaction. This looks like a fault, assuming so, request a replacement under warranty.

Normally, all of these camera's are straight forward to use, except perhaps Casio.

I cannot figure out how to take the memory card out! Polaroid a815

If it is an SD card, you push it in, the latch releases, and it pops out.

My Polaroid i836 won't do anything. I bought brand new batteries.

Yes it sounds like you should return it. If you just bought it I would not take the chance, exchange it for another one and see if you run into the same issue. Then go from there. If you need further assistance let me know.
Thank you,

Polaroid i836 digital camera

this camera has hi-resolution which takes up a lot of memory, the internal memory of the camera is only sixteen megs. all you need is to add an sd card with 1 gbyte of memory and that will solve your problem.

I purchased a digital camera yesterday model # CTA-01031S and charged the battery overnight. I took two (2) photographs this morning and it says "memory full". How can this be?

Now a days, most of the cameras come with very less memory. As the mega pixels go up, the size of the photos taken too goes up. you need more and more memory for photos now.
Now, you can try these two:
Try reducing the resolution of the pixtures being taken.
or
Buy, a new memory card with adequate memory.

37" polaroid lcd tv won't turn on

Here's the fix:

http://www.fixya.com/support/t293971-37_polaroid_lcd_tv_turn

I had the same problem with mine. Replaced the capacitors and now it works. When you open the back of the tv up, the problem is with the 2 capacitors on the upper left of the top card. Mine didn't look damaged except for a very, very slight bulge on the top. If you've never soldered anything, you might want to take it to someone who has, otherwise, it's a pretty simple fix. I was surprised I could do it so easily.

If the warranty is still good, make Polaroid replace it. They make shoddy products and should pay for it. And never buy another Polaroid again.
