So this is the rundown.
About 2 months ago the TV had just gone off. When I noticed it off and tried to turn on it wouldnt come right back on. after pushing the power buttons multiple times the tv finally came back on. {clicked about 20-30 times minimum}. Then about3 weeks ago It did it again this time I clicked about 40-50 times being more persistent due to the outcome of the last time, and it came back on. As of sunday night It has gone off and it doesnt seem as if that is gonna work any longer. so I have unplugged and plugged back in when I turn power off you can here the static warming sound in the back and light flashes it is solid for 2 secs then blinks 3 times. Now for the Question, Shall I buy a new TV or is this prob financially salvagable.
I have to wonder if it is a problem with your power button. Have you tried using the remote? I have heard about some mits buttons sticking.
I don't think this will help, but... My mits 73" didn't turn on. I disconnected my front CCA (The one with the buttons). Then I used my remote and it turned on fine. The remote does not turn the set on if that CCA is connected. Not sure if it is a stuck button or what since I just left it disconnected.
Okay try to distinguish if the three blinks is 1 pause then 2 blinks or 2blinks pause 1 blink. As the set will only blink a two digit code 12 meaning no error detected and 21 meaning the set is hutdown due to xray protection.
