Either the print head is blocked or the cartridge is empty, you can try the clean accessory in the printer toolbox/maintenance, if that fails, replace the cartridge.

Yellow is completely missing from the nozzle check. However, I was able to print a sqaure of solid yellow ??

More than likely, your print heads need cleaned. Remove any dried up ink from the inside of your printer with a Q-Tip and some denatured alcohol. Let everything dry and put it back together. If that doesn't do the trick, you either need a new ink cartridge, or a new printer.
