Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

However, if you plug the player into your computer via usb, does it not show up as a drive in your list under "My Computer" ?
If so, you should be able to drag and drop your songs into it that way. (In some cases, Windows assigns an incorrect drive letter to usb drives when you have networked drives attached and you can't see them. There is a way to solve this if that is the case.)
Some music players convert the files to some special format to prevent copying; I am not sure if the Sandisk is one of those.
