Here are a few things to try: Check that the HotSync icon in showing in the system tray (bottom right hand side of the screen, next to the time). Check that USB connections are enabled in HotSync - In HotSync V7.0.2, Right click the hotsync icon in the system tray, Click "Settings...". Click "Connections" on the menu on the left hand side and ensure that the USB option is checked. Try rebooting your PC and also resetting the device (use a paper clip to reset the device). You could also try reinstalling Palm Desktop, maybe even remove Palm Desktop, reboot, then reinstall Palm Desktop.
