Make sure the drive is not reading a disk, because if its spinning it can break when you do this process.
look for a hole in the front of the drive, get a paper clip and stick it in there all the way, the tray will now eject or if its a slot loading drive the cd will eject

1. try to open my computer, right click on the dvd drive and select eject if still doesnt work,
2. boot to safe mode by restarting the computer and press f8 then select safe mode then try to login using your username and password if you have one .
3. then try to eject your dvd by pressing the eject button if still doesnt work do then do step 1.
4. if still doesnt work boot to bios by pressing F2 when you restart then try to press the eject button if still doesnt work
5. get a pin and push the emergency eject hole if still doesnt work replace your DVD drive
