Question about Battery Technology 20V90W AC Adapter w C118 tip (AC2090118)

Open Question

My 20v battery for my troy bilt weed eater will not charge for some reason. When I put the battery on the charger the lights keep blinking and it won't charge the battery. I never had this problem until now. The thing has only been used a couple of times. Do you know what might be wrong?

I have a Troy Bilt TBP6040 XP 4 cycle weed eater with the spring assist starting. The pull cord broke and I am trying to replace it but I can't seem to get the cord to go all the way back in. I need help....

I just had this same issue. I found out that you have to take the cord out of the handle then put the spool in. You then rotate the spool back in and align the spool with the spring and fish out the cord which will put a small amout of tension on it. You keep the tension on it and put the handle back on.

Weed eater does not start

I had a similar problem with my troy-bilt weedeater. I tried replacing the sparkplug, replaced the fuel filter and etc. It still would not start. I looked at the troubleshooting guide in the owner's manual and it listed a possible cause as a clogged spark arrestor. I cleaned out the spark arrestor by taking it off and cleaning it with a wire brush. Now it runs like brand new again. I hope this helps.
