SOURCE: InputChannel without remote

Yes and no depends on the TV if you have a menu button press it and go to autoprogram and let it find all the channels then press channel down until you get to channel 1 then press it again and it should start cycling through aux inputs.sometimes TVs dont have a menu button and this is not possible.try simply pressing channel down until you get to channel 1 then maybe it will cycle through your inputs. Please rate me if this helps.

SOURCE: Can't change tv to video input mod e without the

You did not specify the model or brand. Many televisions select the Video mode if you keep pushing Channel down even when you get to the Channel 1. You could always get a universal remote and program it for this television or look on eBay for a replacement if the original is missing.

Toshiba 27A41 27" TV Remote is lost. Need to change the input. Can I do this using the buttons on the TV? Can I program my DirectTV remote to change the input?

You can't chage it with your Direct TV remote control. If there is menu button in front of the tv, just go through the menu, and see the vedio options. From there you can change the input selection. If there is no menu button, you can't do anything without the help of remote control handset.

How do I access the input avi without the remote

hello Smith_Bradle. you need to find a remote control, there is not TV/VIDEO control menu on front panel where you can access between the inputs.

Watching video input
You can use the TV/VIDEO button on the remote control to view a signal
coming from other devices, such as VCRs or video disc players that
may be connected to your TV.

How does one change the video inputs without the remote control?

If you have lost the remote, go to any electronics store and buy a universal one. I have programmed many generic remote controls, and they all work fine for adjusting the video inputs. Not all television sets allow their video inputs to be switched without the remote. Most likely you will have to buy a replacement.

You need the original remote controller to be able to switch input modes.Universal ones usually don't work. If you don't have the original remote and can't find it ever or if it is too expensive you can buy an rf modulator ( very cheap) and connect your dvd player, game console etc) to the modulator then connect the modulator to your antenna with a coax cable. This worked for me. It placed the connection to channel 4 and other cable channels are still working,

You can buy the RF Modulator from: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180299245670
