Question about Samsung Televison & Video
The power board is probably defective, and the noise is coming from the power board transformer. Ballast board and fans can also produce noise.
Repair is done taking apart the TV, finding the faulty part and replacing it.
Repair will cost about $200/$250, depending on what part from the ones listed above is faulty.

Thanks for using FixYa. This hum/buzz sound indicates that the color wheel has gone bad and to resolve this issue you’ll have to replace it. The part itself is around $170 and you can add labor costs with this if you get this done by a professional.
