You have lost system programming. Unless you are well versed in getting into your system with the installer password, you need to call a Nortel service tech. The older systems have a battery backing up the memory and when it dies, your system crashes. It's really obvious, because it goes back to the default of only 2 lines working and all the buttons become defaulted.
You are describing two different things. The "speaker 43" is the default code for Busy/No Anser Set. The correct syntax should be Speaker - 43 - 399 - Speaker. That should set CFWD B/NA to VM. Next, if you have a button programmed to call VM, it is probably a speed-dial or one-touch button. It would have to be programmed to dial 399. If that is not working, try calling VM (399) and make sure you can get into the box that way. If that works, but the button does not, press the Feature Key and the button for VM. It should display what is programmed for that button. If it needs to be changed to call VM, the syntax is: Feature - Redial - the button to program - "1" - "399" - Feature.
i dropped my phone and after i called my buuddy frm my o2xda mini i cant hear the voice from the other line ,bt she/he can hear me ...please help me what 2 do ..i can still play mp3 from my phone and the speaker is stil working is their a software to direct the caller sound to the speaker???
This exact issue happened to me: I left my phone off for 2 days (unplugged), turned it back on and the internal speaker started working normally again. The phone worked normally for over a month after this.
Yesterday, the earpiece speaker stopped working again after the phone fell out of my pocket. I suspect a loose connection or something similar, but I've had my phone off for the last day and will let you know whether or not it starts working again.
Just press and hold the "phone" green buttom for about 2 seconds. The main speaker is enabled. The same procedure works when during a phone call, to enable a hands-free operation, or when listening to windows media player.
