This is generally a fuse issue and will need a technician to assist with the repair but the part itself is rather cheap

hope this helps

Won't stop ticking!!!! Why??

The noise could be from the expansion and contraction of the metal from heating up and cooling down. You could try loosen the mounting screws of the unit slightly to see if that helps.

Does it sound like the noise the turn signal makes? Does the noise change if you change the speed of the blower motor? Do all the function of the heater work (defrost, vent, floor, recirculate, fresh air, hot, cold)?

There is no picture and there is a tick tick ticking noise coming from inside the TV

The ticdk tick sound is probably the switched mode power supply making noise due to the fact that there is a shorted component inside(may be the horiz. output transistor). You may need to have service personell look at unit and get an estimate...this is older set n may not be worth repair

I have a ticking noise when i try to turn on the tv..

Try putting on the back piece. Some of these TVs have a circuit protection system that will not deactivate with the back open. (It is like an old circuit breaker with the fuse out.)

I hope this helps.

Ticking TV

This noise come from a component that needs soldering, probably comes from one of the terminal were by any reason is not doing good contact. Or is the flyback, a component that uses high voltages to accelerate the rays inside the tube.Unfortunately, is not a big deal for a regular technician, but is a big trouble if you try tio open the TV. Is very risky because the mentioned component, along with others usually they work at ranges ol voltages of 50,000 or more volts. Although the current is not much, the shock is very unconfortable. Don't try, take it to a tech.
