It may be that the lamp actually does need replacing so that may be why it's not coming on?

How do i determine lamp hours on sanyo plc-XF12NL

Your manual seems to be at http://dl.owneriq.net/2/2e2a0f19-4c81-b644-e5c3-bcb4b28e0257.pdf Page 49 of the manual tells you how to reset this lamp timer...perhaps this is also where to check the lamp age. In a nut shell...press Menu, arrow left or right to Settings, press Select. Press the POINT DOWN button and a red arrow appears, move the red arrow to Lamp Age and press Select. It also allows you to reset this here for when you replace it. Good luck, hope this helps.

Hi oatesy13

You will have to reset the lamp timer to resolve the problem.

Consult ypour user's manual on how to do this.

Should do the trick , If you do however need any further assistance , please send me a request and I'll respond to it.

Sanyo Projector PLC-XU50 Lamp Hours

Turn projector on and before doing anything else, press and hold the UP arrow on the machine for 30-40 seconds WHILE watching the display screen on the wall - the remaining hours will display only momentarily - if you look away you could miss it. Cheers
