What do you have your stitch length set at? Are your feed dogs up or down? Check your manual for other possible causes, that cost nothing before taking in for service. If, you hjave no manual go to www.singerco.com and download one for free.

Why is my thread birdnesting? i am getting some thread that bunches up under my fabric. I have played with the tension changed needles, and rethreaded both top and bottom

bunching up under the material is loose tension of the needle thread
pull the thread out before you thread the needle and if it doesn't require a small amount of effort to pull then the thread is not between the tension plates or the tension plates are not being allowed to move closer together to add the tension
check that the thread is actually between the plates and not to one side of them
full tension adjustment should make it fairly difficult to the thread by hand

Why do stitches bunch when using walking foot on 3 layers of quilting fabric?

make sure that the thread tensions are correct for the thickness of material
remember that only the bottom foot walks and draws the material through so it may need a help and be pulled as it sews.
I find that women in sewing shops just love to talk about problems and how they can help so find a shop and discuss any problems with them

Top threat bunching up under material

Either the top tension is too low, bottom tension is too high or you have not lowered the pressure foot.

How do I stop my needle from breaking and how to I see to it that the machine is self feeding the material forward instead of me having to pull it towards me to get the stitches into the material?

The needle may be bent, but surely the material should feed away from you not towards? Is the bobbin in correctly? If you have inadvertently left the feed dogs down the material will not be gripped and stay in the same place instead of moving. Check.

Fee motion quiltng thrad breaks on top and bunches onthe bottom

Likely the thread is catching somewhere. Of course there's no detail here and no machine model. Might be using a model that won't do FMQ

Thread bunching and bobbin winder quit

This sounds a lot like you've forgotten to lower the presser foot. (this leaves the tension discs open and causes serious issues below the material.) Double check that and if still having issues post again.

Thread hangs up

Remove the needle plate and look for any burrs or nicks that may be catching the thread. If you find any they need to be removed with a small file or emery stick.
