Is only the cap loose, but you can still operate that key?

On most laptop keyboards, the letters are caps on the keyboard button. They are held in place by small plastic tabs on the keyboard structure. The cap snaps in place and is held by the tabs. If the tabs are broken, the cap stays loose.

Some keyboards use a small slider that moves as you depress the key, which means you can't glue it.

Laptop keyboards are replaceable and can be purchased cheaply on ebay or some repair sites.

E2 error on a Samsung washing machine

The E2 error indicates a stuck or shorted key on the touch pad or a wiring problem between the touch pad and the main control board. Sometimes this can be cleared by unplugging the washer for 2-5 minutes. (Note: this is usually a temporary fix.) Next run your fingers across the keys. If you find one is lower than the others, that's the stuck key. Try to get it to move; sometimes just pressing it again will work.

You should check the wiring between the control board and the touch pad for any loose connections and for any corrosion or damaged insulation. Replace damaged wiring; reconnect loose wires. (To access this, unplug the washer and remove either the top or access panel at the back of the washer.)

If these don't help, you'll need to replace the touch pad or the control assembly (touch pad and control board). If you add a comment with the washer model, I may be able to supply the parts information for the unit. If your washer is under warranty, contact Samsung.

I hope this helps.

Key board is either bad or the cable has come loose on the mother board either way i would take out the keyboard and check if its in fact a loose data ribbon if not the key board for the e 6400 is pretty cheap maybe 10 to 12 bucks.... here are instructions on how to remove the keyboard.

Displaying E6 & F2 code

F2/E6 fault code implies a Cancel key drive line open. This means the key pad ribbon connector could be loose or dirty where it connects to the oven control board or a faulty oven control board.

Press Cancel. If the error code returns after 60 seconds, replace the key pad. If it continues to display F2/E6 after replacing the key pad, replace the oven control board. The parts can be ordered from Sears PartsDirect

NOTE: Disconnect the power supply from the oven before servicing.

How do you fix the keypad? I cannot type anything

Sounds like the main lead of the keyboard has come loose, either that or the key board needs to be replaced. Here is the link to the video instructions on how to replace, I would follow the instructions on the removal and check the main power cable of the key board and make sure it is not loose before you buy another key board, cost for a new key board should range from 8 to 15 dollars. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vRglqfQjyE Hope this helps. :)

There is not so much that could be done to repair a keyboard. Disassemble the laptop, check the ribbon cable connecting the keyboard to the motherboard. If the ribbon cable is loose, tighten it. If it is tight, replace the keyboard with a new one

I would take a butter knife and pop off the keyboard, clean it out, make sure the two metal objects are aligned and pop it back in.

Hi!
It's a loose connection between the keyboard and motherboard or a broken keyboard cable. You can remove the back cover (remove front cover first) and check if the connection is not loose - there's a flexible key board glued to the internal frame - it may loose connection with the main board as key board cable's leads are from graphite - it's very cheap and unreliable solution, cables like these get damaged quite easily. If the cable is in the connector, looks OK, but the keys still won't work - the key board has to be replaced. It comes with the frame. If you feel like repairing it yourself, I can sell you a new frame with the key board. If not, contact your local Kodak service center or me at toms.safranovs@gmail.com
This is a well known problem with these cameras and I repair these every day as I work in a Kodak service center.

Hope this helps!

Do you use wireless keyboard? If not, your keyboard wire might be loose maybe you should try to borrow other keyboard from your neighborhood and if not hang when you replace the keyboard, you have to buy a new one.
