Where is it leaking? Check rubber hoses under the machine first.

Check the hose that connects to the bottom of the tub to the drain hose. Make sure that hose is securely fastened.

Water leaks out between coffee brew basket and carafe.

If you are noticing the water that is leaking at the base, I was having the same problem. If you can specifically see that the leak is coming from between the basket and carafe - then you may have a different problem. My problem appears to be that the heating element is shot - it leaks when you start the brewing cycle. I found this out by taking off the bottom and raising up the coffee maker and puting it on a mirror to view what was going on. As soon as the brewing starts and the system is under pressure, water starts forming on the metal tubing part of the heating element. I suppose it's possible that water is leaking down from the tubes, but it looks like it is getting forced out of the metal, so there must be small holes, caused by corrosion. I will check further but I can't find a replacement heating element online so I may have to purchase a new coffee maker.

Leaking water when washer begins to load water.

Fist place to check is the outlet hose at the back of the machine it will leak as soon as water enters the tub, see if is leaking there, if it is you just have to tighten the clamp . if not there are a few hoses inside of the machine that may need clamps tightend also. The motor is seperated from the water so that wont be leaking. It could also be the electric water inlet valve that is leaking. let me know what you find out !

LEAKING FROM BOTTOM

Is it leaking only when it is filling or all the time? If it is only leaking during fill, it could be an air gap device
  • Air-gap device -The air gap is a small device found on most washers that prevents the wash water from being siphoned into the household water supply. It's located either mid-way along or at the end of the black rubber hose that comes from the water-inlet valve. Often it's made of translucent plastic. If one of the air-gap components deforms or cracks, you may need to replace it.

  • The tube -There's a rubber tube that runs between the water-inlet valve and either the air-gap or the inlet spout. If it cracks or breaks, it can cause a leak.

  • Inlet spout -Most washers have a plastic spout near the top of the main clothes tub that directs the water into the tub. If the spout cracks or breaks free of its mounting, it can cause a leak.
  • If it is leaking all the time it could be the main tub seal. Hope this helped.

My GE Profile dishwasher is leaking under the tub. Its not a small leak, the water comes out as soon as it starts to fill. What may be the problem?

You have one of two problems here. First of all remove the lower front panel on the dishwasher and get down there with a flash light and check it all over. The water leak is either where the water line is connected to the machine, or around the motor/pump seal. Close the door and turn on the machine. Now you will see exactly where the leak is. IF if is the motor/pump seal you may want to call a technician. If it is where the hot water feeds the dishwasher you may be able to tighten up the connection.

Washer leaks from bottom as soon as it starts filling with water

There are 2 green clips between the top of the unit and the front panel. (you can use a flash light to find them easier). Push on the with a putty knife or small flat head screw driver while lifting on the top. Once the top is open, you will find 2 5/16 screws that hold the front panel on at the top on the right and left hand sides. Once these are removed, you can tilt the front panel forward and see where the water is leaking from.
