Question about Computers & Internet
I purhcased a dell Inspiron a few days ago. The battery charges in about 2 hours, but then dies after i use it for 2 - 2.5 hours. Is this normal? The only discription on the site as to which battery is a Lithium-ion type, but it does not go into specifics on how many hours it should work.
If you are running alot of programms and your screan brightness is on full your laptop battery will die fast.
try running one or two programms at a time. this will lenthen your battery time. plus dont leave it charging all the time this will ruin your battery.

Yep that's about right.....you can lengthen how long it will last by turning the brightness of your screen down. you can also dish out a good chunk of money and buy a battery that will last about 4 hours.
