If you have windows set to do automatic updates, you most likely had a windows update installed that caused this conflict with Win Media Player 11. No fix has been posted by Microsoft yet, so the only workaround is to Uninstall/Rollback Windows Media Player 11. Goto <Control Panel<Add/Remove Programs and remove Windows Media Player 11. Follow prompts, restart computer when prompted to. Also uninstall Windows Media Player 11 Runtime application following same procedure above.
This will roll your Windows Media Player back to version 10 or 9, whichever you had installed prior to version 11. You will need to re-configure Windows Media Player again.

Your Zen should now be recognized by WMP and Creative software. You probably need to upgrade your firmware at this point, follow the instructions on upgrading your firmware, and you should be good to go.

This is a windows problem, not a creative problem. Dont blame Creative for the screwed up hotfixes that Microsoft puts out on a regular basi

Rca th1611 mp3 needs update but does not seem to update.


Mine didn't want to upgrade either. I kept trying it. I would notice that the box to continue would just flash for an instance then shut back off. I just kept trying to click on the box, and finally I timed it just right and it went ahead with the upgrade. Hope it will work for you.

I play videos and a lot of my songs say error


Well if like me you use a website like limewire to get your songs, It may be that the files for the song or videos have errors in the files. Try downloading others and if it still doesnt work it may be the place your downloading songs from. If my solution doesnt work please try changing where you get your music from.. Im pretty sure you use something like limewire and if so it may be that its not suitable for your mp3, Try changing it

Help rhapsody and sansa not working

My c200 2GB is frozen - tried to update, etc, but pc or mac does nothing

Load main image failed error.


Try holding the power button down for at least 10 to 15 seconds. That should turn it off. Turn it back on. If this doesn't work, try taking the battery out for a few seconds. If that doesnt work i will recommend that you update the firmware on your device even if you have done so anytime in the past...
