TV PROBLEM Power ON ,no picture & sound, green LED blincs 6 times.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. Same issue with - Panasonic TH-50PX70A , power UP with red standby, then power ON by remote - only Gives GREEN led blinking 35-40 times, followed by solid green led with no no picture no sound.
>> Solution; unplug Plasma from AC 10-15min, then plug in & power on to Red standby led,, At this point - Power ON tv while holding down both -Volume Down and F (function Select) buttons (front panel door) at the same time turns picture ON,all ok.

There is a small IC in the power supply section,
not the IC regulator that's the problem.

If the power supply outputs are good! Then I would say the back light inverter is bad! If the screen stays black and does not come on.

Replaced the sc board and tv works fine again.

I have a sony tv PFM-42B1 when I turn it on it go to standby an a red light flash I count count 14 time but I heard that it only support to flash 1 to 6 time how do count the flash
