What do I have to do to enjoy my DVD's Region 1 with this player DMP BD80?

I got this answer to my question on how to watch my region 1 DVD's on with the Panasonic DMP-BD80 player:

    1. Use the remote that came with the player to bring the player out of standby, make sure there isn't a disc in it.
    2. Press the Activity button "Panasonic MR" and the remote will send the 10 hack commands in sequence.
    3. If all works ok the Blu Ray player will reboot
When its finished it will not actually tell you its region free, just simply try it with different region DVDs.

    My questions:
Where is Activity button "Panasonic MR" on remote? And how does it work since the player is in the standby modus?

Please please help me. Thanks in advance.

It is not quite as simple as that. You need a Harmony Logitech unversal remote. Get a password at this site.
http://www.avforums.com/forums/blu-ray-players/1003302-harmony-remote-multiregion-dvd-hack-panasonic-pioneer-sony-blu-rays-pt-5-a.html
Download your remote software and programme the unit with the remote.
This will only work for unlocking DVD's and only on PAL machines.

3. Put the player back into standby with the Sony remote
4. Next time you turn on the player it will be region free for DVD playback
Note: If the Blue light continues to flash then power cycle at the mains to resolve.

Should be a functions button. If not, try the play button. Other remotes have an A, B, or C for thier activites.

Dvd player must be turned on which would be out of standby and awake.
