Alarm red light flashing when I switch on the...

We bought this OKI 1 year ago. Since then it has always been in its original box. Today we've installed it and the red Alarm light is flashing. We've tried many things but we cannot even access the printer Menu.

Is there any solution (apart from cleaning the cartridge motor)? If the only thing we can do is to clean the cartridge motor... is it something we can do ourselves or it needs to be done by an expert/technical service?
