If your signal keeps breaking up , you might be in a poor reception area , Check if you get the same problem on other DAB stations you are tuned into.

My picture and keep on breaking up on some channel

If you have a good picture on some channels and the picture breaks up on others , it could be the input signal. What is the source of the input signal; i.e. cable, satellite, antenna???? Do you have a cable box? The problem may be with the box or with the provider's signal.

You may have to try another antenna. There are some channels in my area that simply can't be received no matter what is used.

Some type of error message

These problems can be created by loose contacts in power outlet, RC jack, cable, sockets. Check these thoroughly and if necessary, change the RC cables. The message you see might be something related to auto shut off activated due to poor or lack of signal. This might also be from the service provider's computer.

Breaking sound and picture

Hi, Breaking sound and picture is usually a result of a poor signal into your TV, check the aerial cable and connectors for poor connections, perhaps re-do the aerial plug connections if you can, if this doesn't solve the problem then it could be a fault with the actual aerial.

as a second thought you may have an aerial amplifier, if you do make sure it is switched on and check all connections.

Hope this helps.

please let me know how you get on.

Good luck - Midge.

No Picture when it does open it breaks up but now says "no satelite signal is being received" I have tried refreshing but to no avail. Could it be the weather or is it your service? Either way it...

Hello.
I presume you are using satellite service. If your TV displays that message - this means that message is generated by your satellite box and TV is working just fine.
Most likely you have poor dish pointing or bad connection between dish and satellite box. Weather would be at the end of the list and it would not stay bad because of weather, it would go back to good picture/sound after thunderstorm is over.
Have satellite provider schedule an appointment and check installation. They charge you monthly fee for service and they have to provide it all way to your TV input jack. If installation was poor or cables are bad - it is not your responsibility but theirs.
Regards.
Russ.

Picture Freezing on Flat Screen TV

The symptoms you describe are indicative of a weak signal. If all your connections and cables are in good order, then you may need to either adjust your aerial or place a booster into the system.
If you have had no problems up until recently, it would suggest to me that something has changed to cause this. The normal problems are corroded connections at the aerial, or the aerial has rotated due to wind etc.
If you choose to put a booster into the aerial system, put it as near to the aerial as possible.
If you already have a booster in place, is it working?

Zahc
