Question about Saeco Royal Cappuccino Espresso Machine
Drawer sensor (activated by horizontal tab on left side of drawer) works on the weight (like a mini scale) of the drawer when full.
The motion of the sensor can become restricted due to grinds limiting the movement upward to the default position.
If 'stuck', the sensor thinks the drawer is heavy and therefore full.
Clean it (old toothbrush, hot water, steam run from your spigot) so it moves freely and your problem should be solved.
