Question about Euro-Pro 9130 Sewing Machine
Sometimes you have inserted the needle wrong, make sure that the needle faces the rear, if that is not it, try a new needle. Make sure that you have threaded the bobbin right, by your manual, and have at least a 6 inch tail, hold your top thread and move your handwheel towards you, not away from you and it will grab the thread. If any questions go to euro-pro.com

Make sure your bobbin is inserted correctly, and help the machine by ensuring a equal amount of thread
from top and bottom is displayed
before you insert your fabric.

SOURCE: Top & bobbin thread will not sew
Most likely the needle is in backwards. Weird I know, I have no idea why but if the needle is in wrong, it either hits the bobbin and breaks or won't grab the thread at all. Good luck.

Our machine had the same problem, there was a piece of broken thread stuck in the upper tension spring keeping the tension spring open. removing the broken thread in the upper tension solved the problem for us
