Try screen calibration you can find it in prefs. if not solved, try installing powerdigi. it calibrates screen almost perfectly!

When i touch the office doc on screen, pda goes blank, orange palm logo comes up, then changes to black palm logo, unit restarts again. works otherwise.

It sounds like a file error occurred when you installed the software. My suggestion would be to remove the software and try a reinstallation. If that doesn't work you may need to visit their website for any corrections or updates.

Palm TX is going crazy

It sounds like something I had trouble with before.
There is probably either a pinch in the unit (like it got slightly kinked when dropped, or there is some debris under the edge of the screen causing it to calibrate or touch improperly. I would suggest taking your drivers license and run it just under the edge of the frame. It should dislodge any problem matter and allow it to work properly but you will probably need to recalibrate your digitizer. Good luck!

Palm TX wireless just stopped working.

hit up palm live chat support, found out the wireless hardware in my handheld died.....so no wireless for me. I could spend $199 to get it repaired or $229 on an ipod touch with apple that will fix it no matter what with just shipping and handling......so....my solution: get an ipod touch....screw palm.

My TX's Top Left quadrant of the touch screen has lost "sensitivity" but generally the whole screen is out of calibration.

have you tried using the built in calibration function on your phone? calibrate it again and again untill you can touch each point just once. if this doesnt work you may have damaged that part of the digitizer and you will have to replace the screen.

Palm TX: Digitizer problems - can't use all functions; i.e.all those on bottom row of screen. Soft reset and touch-screen alinement exercise doesn't seem to work.

I developed the same problem after owning my TX for about a year and a half. I found an acceptable solution by experimenting with the digitizer. Instead of tapping the very center of the bullseye, I tapped off center until I found an acceptable setting where accessing functions anywhere on the screen would work for me.

Touch Screen does not work at all

My touchscreen was acting batty, not responding where I was touching. The solution for me was to:
1. remove my screen protector
2. Take a piece of paper, fold it in half, and scoop under the lip the case where it holds the touchscreen in to fish out debris that were distorting how the digitizer recorded.

do you have a screen protector? if so, i suggest checking to see if there is anything caught between it and the screen. there might be a speck of dirt or whatever that is causing that. also check for dirt accumulating around the edges.. hope that helps. good luck
