I recently replaced the ignition module on my Vac-Attack II blower/vac. I need to know what to set the gap between the module and the flywheel. Also what is the correct gas to oil ratio? Thank you.

What is the gap spacing between the ignition module and the flywheel for a PoulanPro PPB2000 blower/vac?

0.010-0.012" or a 'quick tip': you can use the cardboard of the box the coil came in, or the parts tag that may have been attached to it. Those should be close enough to get you going.

Vac Attack II leaf blower knocks like HELL.

Is your fuel mixture ratio 40:1? Plus there is not adjustment to the timing. It could be a loose flywheel or a rod bearing going, or a loose impeller. Basically something at the factory did not do there job. It has a 1 year warranty on it. Or you can take to a shop and for a diagnostic fee, have an estimate done to see what it would cost to fix.

I am gettinno spark from the spark plug I have put in a new plug,

first check to make sure the on/off switch isnt shorting out anywhere. try resetting the gap between the flywheel and the igniton module. you can use an index card or manilla envelope to set the gap. if it still doesnt work try replacing the module
