SOURCE: whirlpool duet washer troubleshooting: What does

This indicates that the pressure switch or also called the analog pressure sensor has failed. First you will need to remove the top lid. Usually 2 or 3 screws on the back and the top comes right off. The pressure switch has a clear hose and a clump of wires going to it. Then unplug the hose and blow thru it it should be clear. Check the hose for leaks or obstructions. Also in the back of the washer on the left hand side is a air dome this is where it gets it pressure reading from, make sure it is not obstructed. If all is clear the pressure switch will need to be replaced. Here is a link to help with accessing the pressure switch also if you need diagrams or illustrations of your particular model.

SOURCE: Getting an F35 failure code

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F 35 means Analog Pressure Sensor Failure- which means that there is a malfunction of the component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board.

1. Check that the pressure hose is fixed correctly.
2. Check that the air trap is not blocked.
3. Check that the hose is not blocked

If still the issue is not resolved then it is an issue with the water level pressure switch operation and there is a blockage in the air dome or pressure switch hose. The air dome is located on the back of the tub on the left hand side. If the pressure switch hose and the air dome are clear of any blockages, then there is an issue with the water level pressure switch. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

SOURCE: My Maytag 5000 front leader

We had the same exact problem. Service tech came out and diagnosed bad pressure switch, Part # W1015652. Swapped it for a $135 new one and it seems to work just fine now.

This would have been an easy fix for me to make had I known what to look for. Unplug and shut water, remove top cover, follow small diameter (1/4"?) black tube up from wash drum to where it plugs into the plastic pressure switch housing. Remove switch from its bracket, unplug wire harness and black tube, and replace.

Service tech said that this is due to using too much detergent, suds will creep up into the pressure tube from the wash drum and get into the small circuit board inside the pressure switch housing. He also recommended against using Kirkland Signature brand detergent even though it has the HE emblem on it. Best to use one of the major brands and only 1 to 1.5 tablespoons at most.

A google search for "Maytag 5000" reveals that this is a major problem because it is the 5th search result. "Maytag 5000 problems" search shows that this is the #1 problem with these washers.

SOURCE: what does code f35 mean

I found this for you:
"F35" Analog Pressure Sensor Failure
If the washer does not accept inputs from the control panel, follow the Hard Reset steps below to reset the control:

  • Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord into the wall outlet or turn the breaker back on and wait 30 seconds.
  • Press the Pause / Cancel / Stop button twice to clear the display.
  • Start a short cycle, to check operation of the appliance, by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the appliance starts.
Note: If the Hard Reset does not work, there may be an internal failure with the washer, that requires service.

SOURCE: What means Error code F35 on Kenmore Elite washer

ANALOG PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE
If this failure is displayed, there is any malfunction of the steamer component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board.

I suggest check:
- Check if pressure hose is fi xed correctly.
- Check if the airtrap is not blocked.
- Check if the hose is not blocked.

The analog pressure sensor can be accessed by pulling off the top panel of your washer. Remove the screws at the very back of the top panel and then pull it back slightly and then up and off of the washer. The analog pressure sensor is Key 38 in the first image below... image56387img-or.jpg

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

Maytag 5000 series front load washer wont spin, F11 code

I got my Maytag 5000 in 2009. After about a year started having problems. Of course, I was told warranty wouldn't cover the problem. I googled several things, fixed some issues myself. But this washer has been a piece of junk after a year of use. Front loaders are far from cheap. It will be a long time, if ever, that I buy another Maytag appliance.

There is only one Analog Pressure Sensor Switch Part no. W10156252, another one that it has is the water level switch (part no W10415587). I believe you are talking about the first one as that is what error code F35 means (ANALOG PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE). Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.
