Well I think that it might be your tv or the rf switch is causing the problem then not the consoles.

I just tried to try my NES (wichs hadn't been use for a long time) again. When i plugged everything and turned the NES on, the light start blinking. Then, I put a game in it and opened the tv on channel 3....

Hi,

You can try to change the input to Video instead of channel 3 since you're using a RCA (Red, Yellow and White) cable.

Thanks for using Fixya.

I turn it on and the game won't play nes so it turns blue or pink or white the color just changes everytime I turn it on

have you tried blowing into the slot on the nes where you put the games or into the bottom of the game itself. sometimes dust gets in there and causes errors like that.
hope this helps

My Super Nintendo is showing up with black and white colors. It plays fine there is just no color, only black and white. Is it fixable?

Depending on the age or your television, this could be a simple fix. Newer TVs seem to be unable to translate the simple video colors from the Super Nintendo and thus render them in black and white. Try using an older TV.

How do i get my super nintendo to show up in color again? Every time i put in a game it is just black and white.

Since it is every time, my best guess is that your video cord going to the tv is bad.

you can find a new one on ebay for about $2.

SNES plays in black and white

If you have tried all the standard tricks (checking tv, inputs correct, clean cartridges, etc) you may need to open up your super NES. once the top is off you'll see a motherboard protected by an aluminum cover plate. At the bottom left of the cover plate (just behind controller #1 input and immediately to the right of the power switch) you'll see a hole in the plate with an adjustable trim pot below on the motherboard. This may have become dusty over time like the volume controls on an old transistor radio. Use a jewellery screwdriver to move it back and forth a few times then return it to its original position (I adjusted mine with the power on and connected to the TV for optimum picture). This fixed the problem.

Games are in black and white-no color

Make sure the cables are hooked up properly. Audio to the audio input and video into the video input of the tv.

If they are hooked up right and you still only get black and white pictures then the cable might be bad so get a new cable.

If you still have a problem even with a new cable then its something to do with the connector in the SNES or the main board itself.

NES console - white or green tv screen

first off flip your nes upside down and remove the screws to the cover of nes..... then flip your nintendo over and remove the cover.... remember you just voided your warranty for your nes..... then proceed to do the following:

find Chip 3193A and find the 4th pin on the left hand side near the blue coils. Remove or pull back the pin and your NES Will play Pal and NTCS games.

NES in Black and white only...?!

Thats quite a odd issue, and I have never heard or seen a case such as this. Maybe your color balance chip is fried? NES is a 20+ year old system, so I wouldn't doubt the NES may have more issues then just a lockout chip error or a new pin connector.
