Did you charge it and if you did you do by instructions on how to charge with usb cable
electronic devices freshly bought need a battery charge before anything can be put into it or used this is a manufacture feature to keep batterys from exploding in trucks when being hauld to there destinations some trucks arent air conditioned heat expands the batterys so remember to charge battery before use

I bought a used mp3 player put the battery died

There's a slide switch on the top of the unit, near the headphone jack. Slide it away from the jack to unlock the unit. Slide it toward the jack to lock the unit so that accidental bumping of the controls won't do anything.

Coby mp605-4g will not turn on

Your Mp3 player will be dying soon . . mines did the same thing for a while but then it just died. If you want to make it mobile try plugging it in and when it comes on, Unplug the cord from the mp3 player and the computer, Then stick one end back into the Mp3 player with out it being connected to anything else and it should come on if it doesn't . . . I'm sorry about you player.

Coby mp3/mp4

If it immediately dies when you unplug it, your battery has died. the reason that it turns on when you plug it in is that the USB delivers enough power to allow the player to turn on, but not sustain power after it has been unplugged. I would recommend going back to where you bought it (with the receipt) and telling them that you just bought the player and the battery is shot/won't hold a charge. Warranty should cover it because it is a manufacturer error, and not something you did.

Charging creative sleek photo

Creative's junction is unique, an ipod cable won't help. Buy a charger or better yet, a usb connection cable specific to the sleek photo online. I just bought one through amazon for a couple of dollars.

IPOD NANO THIRD GEN.

Turn on the iPod and look at the firmware rev. You should find this in Settings - About and then press the play button twice to see the firmware screen. You will see the Version and should look something like 1.0.3 PC.

You cannot use a PC formatted unit on a Mac and vice-versa unless you re-format the unit using iTunes.

Since you bought this unit is Thailand, I would make sure it's an actual Apple iPod and not a knock-off.

Believe it or not, to reset the unit you need to remove the battery for a couple of hours. I had the same problem and this solution worked for me. Good luck!
